We are looking forward to an exciting season of hockey here at SMH!
In accordance with the changes brought forth by Hockey Nova Scotia, we are aiming to give our players the best possible opportunity to succeed as a player and grow as a person.
We are pleased to announce that our registration has not increased from last year.
Also in line with the Hockey Nova Scotia mandate, we are making some changes at the Recreation level.
These changes will:
1) Provide a great development opportunity for those interested in the Rec Development Program
2) Provide a more affordable option for those wishing to simply play games and not practice
The Rec Development Program will see all interested players practicing with each other rather than a traditional team practice. The practices will be run by our new SMH Development team and will be at a cost of $200 for the 22 weeks. If you wish to participate in this program, please select this option upon registration.
*Note all players that try out for a competitive team but get released to Recreation will be
automatically enrolled unless otherwise notified.
We also have exciting changes in order for the Competitive level, stay tuned for announcements as tryouts approach.
With many things planned and in the works, it is time to have the players sign up and create winning relationships on and off the ice.
Note: Registration closes on August 31
st, 2014 at Midnight. At late fee of $25.00 will be charged as of Sept 1, 2014 and after.

Please note that in the online registration system, you will see changes in the recreation section. After you select your basic player package, at the bottom of the next page, you will see the Development Program. Click this off in order to register. You do not have to pay the $200 at registration.
Please note that payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard or a Money Order. We have returned to our original policy where we do not accept personal cheques due to the increasing number of NSF cheques. You are not considered "registered" until payment is received. If you have a special situation, please contact our registrar to discuss options.
