The Sackville Flyers celebrated the success and accomplishments of one of their own last night by unveiling a shiny new sign to dawn the walls of the Sackville Sports Stadium… “Proud Home of Sackville Flyer James Sheppard”
James was on the ice with Flyers of all ages… playing 3on3, helping out with target shooting and I think I even heard him “chirping” the goalies!
James was drafted in the 1st round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft… 9th overall!
James showed great determination to overcome a tough injury and continues to grow as a player.
He epitomizes solid 2-way, Canadian-style, team first hockey… something all Flyers should look up to and strive to emulate.
