2014 Provincials - Results

Sackville has been well represented in Provincial Championships this season. Earlier this month our Midget AA picked up the bronze medal in Truro. This weekend, our Peewee A Female team playing in Glace Bay and ‎our Bantam B team playing in TASA, both picked up bronze medals with great showings in their tournaments. 

 

On Sunday, the Peewee A team won our first Provincial Championship this year. Down 3-2 with 1 minute to go the Flyers scored the equalizer, then continued to dominate in OT before scoring the winner with 7:23 left in the first OT! 

Not to be outdone, the Bantam AA team became our second Provincial Championship team of the day by beating Acadia 6-3 in finals.

Both of these teams went undefeated at the provincials but had to battle against some excellent teams from around the province just to get to the finals.
