Sackville Minor Hockey & Sportwheels has teamed up this year to acknowledge players and their outstanding achievements. Each month players will be asked to nominate one of their team mates for his or her hard work and dedication throughout the month. We want players to be commended for their leadership and sportsmanship as well as the efforts they put forth on the ice.

Meet “The Wall”. He is Josh Shwaykowski. Yes, easier to just say “The Wall” as he has been a solid performer for the Sackville Bantam Leafs since their League began. Josh is sporting 3 wins and a tie including 4 shutouts to-date. This netminder has been very steady for the Bantam Leafs and makes the key saves that keeps his team in a position to win. Now, if we can just get him to dress faster, lol. It is noteworthy of Josh’s counterpart, Campbell Kelly whose work between the “pipes” sees him yet to lose a game either. Congratulations Josh!
