March Break Camp – Intro to Yoga
Tuesday, March 17th and Thursday, March 19th, 2015
9:30am-12pm. $60.00

Join Yoga teacher Kerry MacQueen for these two sessions during March Break to complete the
Intro to Yoga program. The cost of the program is
$60. Payment can be made on the first day (Tuesday) and can be paid in cash or by cheque (made out to
KERRY MACQUEEN). Please register online via the Bookingbug site and be sure to include a valid email address.
Please note: This program is required to move on to Level Two which will be offered in the Spring.
In Intro to Yoga, students will learn:
-basic yoga poses and sequences in order to gain strength and flexibility
-specific poses to benefit hockey players
-relaxation techniques to help reduce stress and feelings of anxiety
-how yoga can begin to build self-esteem, resilience and self-regulation |
This camp is for both boys and girls and will be conducted in a safe and comfortable environment.
Please bring:
-comfortable clothing (yoga must be practiced in bare feet or socks with non-slip treads)
-a notebook and pen or pencil
-bottle of water
-a healthy snack
-a yoga mat is NOT required, but if you have your own, please bring it along! |
The course will be instructed by Kerry MacQueen. Kerry has been teaching Yoga at Sackville High School since 2010. She has completed the Breathing Space Yoga Studios 200 hour training program in addition to several workshops, retreats and conferences.
